Strategic Instructional Designer Joins Allen Interactions

Allen Interactions Inc., a nationally recognized provider of interactive custom learning solutions, is pleased to announce Karen Larsen has joined Allen interactions as senior instructional strategist. Karen will provide strategic and creative instructional design direction for e-learning and blended learning initiatives.

Formerly, Karen ran her consulting company, Larsen Solutions, overseeing the design delivery of e-learning and blended learning solutions for global healthcare, financial, telecommunications, retail and hospitality clients. At BI (The Business Improvement Company) located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Karen was responsible for learning operations: the design and production of integrated learning solutions. While at BI, she also held positions as project director and business development manager for BI’s Learning and Organizational Effectiveness group. She has also held positions at Lawson Software, Minneapolis, Minnesota and Fourth Shift Corporation, located in Bloomington, Minnesota.

Karen holds a BA in English from Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois and a secondary education certificate.
